Heroes Volume 3: Villains Q & A with Cast and Tim KringMarch 27, 2007 by Lost Heroes | No comments

The follow is a recording that occurred at the end of Season 2’s finale episode. In this television show productions line up there were a few secrets revealed, questions asked and questions answered about Volume 3: Villains which is set to air in September, 2008. The shows creator, Tim Kring, was there as well as Allan Arkush, James Kyson Lee (Ando), Jack Coleman (Noah Bennet) and several of the Heroes cast. Keep in mind that the following was recorded by a fan using their video camera as they viewed it on TV, so the quality is pretty bad, but not that bad that you can’t see or hear anything. It’s actually decent and is cool info for Heroes fans.

Heroes is an American science fiction drama television series, created by Tim Kring, which premiered on NBC on September 25, 2006. The show tells the story of several people who “thought they were like everyone else… until they woke with incredible abilities” such as telepathy, time travel and flight. These people soon realize they have a role in preventing a catastrophe and saving mankind. The series follows the writing style of American comics with short, multi-episode story arcs that build upon a larger, more encompassing arc.

Season three will begin with the third volume, “Villains”, on September 15, 2008 with a three-hour premiere. The first-hour will be a clip show of the past two seasons, with the final two-hours being the Heroes season premiere. “Villains” was originally supposed to be part of the second season, however the writer’s strike caused the volume to be carried over to season three. The lead-in to the third volume, “Villains”, features Sylar. Throughout Volume Two, his powers are suppressed by the Shanti virus. After using a cure procured by Mohinder Suresh, he regains his abilities, delivering the first line of the volume: “I’m back.” Tim Kring has claimed that the new volume will bring a cadre of villains to the show, hence the name. On December 5, 2007 at the Jules Verne Film Festival Adventure, Tim Kring showed a video-preview of Volume three.

The Villains volume of Heroes was supposed to be continued sooner, but due to the writer’s strike it was cut short. There was also supposed to be a special short 6 episode season of a Heroes spinoff, called Heroes: Origins, but that was forced to be canceled as well. The new season of Heroes will air in the United States in September 2008, until then you can catch up on seasons 1 and 2 here.
